WORLD
Interesting times.
Having watched and experienced history, I see many repeats.
During democratic times/management, world problems are addressed using corruption and low-visibility government agencies to accomplish goals.
At the same time, the military is purged of war fighters and only the politically correct officers survive. These are those who sell their souls for rank and not the welfare of their service members.
Fast forward to the Conservative leadership, and the military must be purged of the politically correct officers groomed in the leftist times. The administration must rebuild the military at the same time.
While I watched the State of the Union after the fact, it sometimes feels like propaganda. I watched the CW5 get the Medal of Honor for getting shot while driving an Airbus. He was propped up on crutches and used as a tool by the administration to stab at the democrats.
Where was his co-pilot? What did he do or not do?
I have the utmost respect for the TF160 folks. One of my pilots in Mog had a nickname of “Flapper.” he had his thumb shot off in Vietnam by enemy fire and his flight glove would flap while he was flying.
When you read the stories of MSG Roy Benavidez from Vietnam, you get a different picture of what earning the MOH is all about.
I had a worthless field-grade officer (who later became a 4-star) tell me that “awards were tools.” It stuck with me. They are often political tools used by administrations and managers to sound their own horn or cover their ass, vs. really understanding the meaning of the award. Unless I was there or trust someone who was there and saw the action, awards are meaningless to me. The military has as many politics as the civilian world. We need not use the military as a political tool.
The TF Pilots are studs, the best in the world, but if you are an outsider, be cautious about what you are seeing and how to interpret the data in the current administration.
Both sides of politics are dirty and need to be watched.
If you want to impress me, arrest and deport Omar for immigration fraud during the ceremony. Allowing them to play their obvious and arrogant games is getting old.
Next issue, it is tax time. I hate paying taxes as I don’t know if it is going to corruption, the democratic party, a terrorist organization or all three…..
While other countries are arresting high-level individuals connected with the demonic Epstein cult, we sit back and go through the motions.
Still much work to be done.
TRAINING:
We have begun our Spring Training Cycle with three classes this past month. Our Mid-Range Rifle, Guardian Medical and Basic SWAT were the February classes. The weather cooperated with all our classes, and we had several 80-degree days to make the training enjoyable.
The course below will be run from 7-11 April.
SCHOOL-BASED TACTICS INSTRUCTOR
The School-Based Tactics Instructor will learn how to train live-fire school responder tactics to SROs, Teacher Guardians, or Church Security. The course is 5 days in duration. This course applies to the School Guardian, School Resource Officer and Church Security personnel.
COURSE TOPICS:
Safety Exterior Contact
Combat Mindset Single CQB/T Intersections
Basic Firearms Single Hallway Movement
Shooting Standards Medical
Barricade Work Link Up Law Enforcement
Vehicle Deployments Displacing people
Live Fire Culmination Scenarios Movement in structures
Students must have attended a Handgun Course. This class will culminate in teaching a live fire 1 day Guardian Class to new students.
MUST PASS EVALUATIONS:
· Shooting Standards
· Guardian Live Fire Modules
· Deliver a live fire block of instruction
PHYSICAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Good physical condition
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Concealment or duty holster, pistol, eye and electronic ear protection. Bring inclement weather gear as required. Bring either a CAT or SOFT-T Tourniquet to class or one can be purchased in the Pro Shop.

BARRACKS
While the barracks have saved many students money in the past, I must unfortunately raise the rent. To stay there for a two- or three-day class, it is an extra $100 on the class tuition. Power, water, AC/Heat, maintenance, and maintenance contracts have all gone up. Send any complaints to Joe Biden, PODUS. Also, if you are a current LEO paying on your own dime, the barracks increase does not apply to you.
RANGE
With some local help, we were able to build less-lethal modifications to the Old SH, New Shoot House, LE Range and our Target House. They can be used by LE to train and certify officers in bean bag, 40mm and Taser deployments.
